Loved our place and would definitely stop here again. It was clean and the staff were really helpful, beds were extremely comfy.

All in all everything was lovely, had a very nice stay for a Rothenburg visit. The breakfast was satisfactory with freshly made scrambled eggs and fresh orange juice, as example, so much to pick from.

Magnificent and stunning location with parking nearby. Good restaurant, for dinner.

It has good location to see Burggarten. The room is reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly, managed the parking nearby.

Our stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations! The room was lovely and cozy above an Indian restaurant, with an EXCELLENT bathroom and good water pressure. The food at the restaurant was mind-blowingly delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even going above and beyond to make my birthday special. The location was jaw-droppingly amazing, right in the heart of the old town. The breakfast buffet was cheap and offered a wide range of choices. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and convenient express check-in/out. There were even options for badminton, hiking, and cycling nearby. For such an incredible price, this hotel is an absolute gem! Plus, the board games and pet-friendly policy added an extra touch of awesomeness. And of course, a big thank you for the strict no smoking policy on site. We highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay!

Charming old and wonderful small venue, excellent location so close to the center of the old town, loved our stay. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice plus a really good croissants, worth the price. We got excellent services and a nice size and nicely furnished room where our children were staying.

The room was new-fashioned and warm, no complaints whatsoever. Coffee, tea, toast and cereals served for breakfast were outstanding. Satisfactory breakfast and other services were EXCELLENT.

I had a delightful stay at Schwarzer Adler for 4 nights. The traditional hotel is located within easy walking distance of everything, and the owners were incredibly courteous and helpful. The cleanliness and service were exemplary, and the breakfasts were a joy with eggs made to order, a variety of delicious food options, and the best homemade banana bread I've tasted in years. I could easily have stayed longer.

this hotel met the purpose! the place was exceptionally clean with very friendly staff members. the breakfast offered was satisfactory with freshly made scrambled eggs. the location was central, short walk to the old town and rothenburg's old town center.

second stay in rothenburg & schwarzer adler was even better! friendly staff, perfect location in walled town, cozy hotel, vast breakfast. loved how they humored my german-speaking attempts. highly appreciated!

Attic room too hot, fan didn't help.
